Well… it’s over… I just got home last nite from the camp with all the young ppl of brazil (aka the BAM), my hole body’s hurting, I lost my voice so I have to croak as loud as I possibly can for ppl to hear me… sooo I’ll tell you sort of how it was…. ahem… there were 2 buses going from Sao Paulo, we yelled/sang/laughed for basically the hole way there, mostly yelled as it got toward the end of the bus ride cause we couldn’t take it anymore (the BAM was in Rio, that’s like 6 hours away)… poor Anita was sitting ther trying to get every1 to sit down shut up as we wer dancing in the isle between the seats… the BAM lasted 3 days, it was cloudy for the whole time but we had fun anyway. We had tons of inspirations, classes in the morning, get out in the after noon, we played volley and me and my team lost miserably, thank god Sam wasn’t watching cause she would’ve been ashamed of me… ummm… what else… I met a bunch of ppl like “the Curitiba ppl” that I’d heard so much about, and the ever so popular chilean argentines who decided to go to Rio right after I’d left. And I got to see all my Rio friends again: bref, it was awesome and I miss you guys way too much!! sob… (blows her nose)
The bus ride home: all the girls were hoarse and we were croaking, singing (have you ever heard like 5 hoarse girls trying to sing? it’s gross), telling jokes that weren’t actually funny and laughing hysterically about horrible things like the fact that we were in the back of the bus and rite by the bathroom wich smelled like the devil, it was unbearable and the only thing we could do was laugh… that’s what happens when you add lack of sleep plus sadness plus too much screaming and lots of young ppl… after like 2 or 3 hours of sitting in the back, I decided I couldn’t take it anymore and decided to go find a seat more to the front of the bus to get away from the bathroom… I realized it was very easy and wondered y I’d stayed in the back for that long… my brain wasn’t functioning so well… so I slept for a while, then we had a stop off, ate sandwishes and got back in the bus, we started laughing about nothing again until I couldn’t talk anymore so I went to sleep… I woke up in Sao Paulo at 2:00am, I got out of the bus, the buzz completely GONE, to find that our home wasn’t ther to pick us up… we were outside with our bags, it was FREEZING, I was dead tired, was missing every one from the BAM, had a soar thoat… I just stood there and cried my eyes out…. in the end, another home took us home and it all worked out… my bed had never felt this nice… I woke up the next day feeling better but still croaking and my face had all those black stains from sleeping on my arms (see my arms further down….). I got up just in time for lunch, had lunch and told my happy tales to Fenona, and found out I was on lunch dishes…… welcome home!!!! today (the day after I got home) I’m sick in bed, recovering from the raging BAM but it was so worth it!!
Oh and I got every one to sign me before I left, I brought a shirt just so every1 could sign it but I left it in my room and it was locked and one of my roomies had the key so I just got ppl to sign me. Here are the pix.
And on the pic of my neck/back, you can’t see so well, it says P.C. … does anyone know wat it could mean????
